LOCAL LAW 14 -2003 FINGERPRINTING
Fingerprinting for positions under Local Law 14 - 2003
are conducted at the Nassau County Civil Service Commission, 40 Main Street 2nd floor, Hempstead, NY 11550. Prior to arrival, you must have a fingerprint appointment scheduled and a completed employment application on file with the Nassau County Civil Service Commission submitted by the agency you are seeking employment with. The hiring agency will notify you when to schedule a fingerprint appointment and will provide you the contact number to schedule your appointment.
The current fee is $75
. Acceptable payments are credit card (American Express is not accepted), debit card, bank check, or money order. Personal checks and cash are not accepted. If paying by credit/debit card, there is an additional surcharge of $1.50. Money orders and bank checks should be made payable to "Nassau County Civil Service Commission." An acceptable photo identification is required at the time of fingerprinting. The address on the New York State identification or enhanced driver's license must match the address on the submitted application.
