GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Operates light motor vehicles for the transportation of persons other than students; performs related duties as required.

COMPLEXITY OF DUTIES
Under general supervision, the position requires limited judgment, and the duties require the exercise of care and consideration in operating motor vehicles.

TYPICAL DUTIES
1.Operates passenger cars, station wagons, small buses, or other light motor vehicles for the transportation of persons.
2.Services and makes minor repairs on vehicles.
3.Assists in helping or carrying disabled individuals to and from vehicles.

FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
1.Ability to operate light motor vehicles with care and good judgment.
2.Ability to service and make minor repairs on vehicles.
3.Ability to follow oral instructions.
4.Ability to learn the routes within area of operation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Training and Experience
1.Completion of elementary school education.
2.No prior experience requirement.

Necessary Special Requirement
Possession of an appropriate class, valid Driver License issued by the State of New York.
