GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Performs routine cleaning duties; performs related duties as required.

COMPLEXITY OF DUTIES
Under direct supervision, the duties involve the exercise of limited judgment in performing manual work cleaning and caring for public buildings.

TYPICAL DUTIES
1.Mops floors, corridors, and stairs.
2.Cleans lavatories.
3.Empties trash receptacles.
4.Washes walls, windows from the inside of buildings, and partitions.
5.Vacuums and waxes floors.
6.Moves furniture.
7.Shovels snow, cleans sidewalks, yards, and driveways, mows lawns and makes minor repairs to equipment.

FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
1.Knowledge of methods, materials and equipment used in cleaning operations.
2.Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written directions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Training and Experience
Completion of eighth grade education.
