GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Conducts religious services and provides spiritual and moral guidance, including religious training and counseling for members of the same religious faith; performs related duties as required.

COMPLEXITY OF DUTIES
Under direction, the position administers for the spiritual needs of departmental personnel and their families.

TYPICAL DUTIES
1.Plans, provides and conducts religious services and moral religious education.
2.Provides counseling and guidance service to individuals on personal and spiritual problems.
3.Visits patients to discover their spiritual needs, offering assistance in ritual requirements, counseling, and prayer.
4.Provides assistance and guidance to families of patients in time of crisis in cooperation with the patient's physician.

FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
1.Ability to establish and maintain rapport with people.
2.Ability to express oneself fluently and effectively.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Training and Experience
Ecclesiastical endorsement from the official endorsing agency of the candidate's faith or denomination.
