GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Operates passenger buses which may be specially equipped for the transportation of physically handicapped persons; performs related duties as required.

COMPLEXITY OF DUTIES
Under general supervision, the duties require the exercise of judgment in operating passenger buses which may be specially equipped for the transportation of physically handicapped persons.

TYPICAL DUTIES
1.Operates passenger buses which may be specially equipped for the transportation of physically handicapped persons.
2.Assists in helping or carrying disabled individuals to and from buses.
3.Services and performs minor maintenance work on assigned buses.
4.Reports needed major repairs to supervisor or mechanic.
5.Keeps mileage records and makes other required reports.

FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
1.Ability to operate passenger buses with care and good judgment.
2.Ability to service and make minor repairs on vehicles.
3.Ability to follow instructions.
4.Ability to learn routes within area of operation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Training and Experience
Completion of elementary school
and
Two years of satisfactory experience operating motor vehicles and one year experience operating a passenger bus.

Necessary Special Requirement
Continuing possession of an appropriate class, valid Driver's License.
