* | 1. | Trains subordinate lifeguard personnel at the beginning of each swimming season; instructs subordinates in lifesaving and first aid measures and techniques, and the proper operation of lifesaving equipment; regularly conducts lifesaving drills throughout the season. |

1. | Must be at least eighteen years of age prior to appointment. |
2. | Must be in satisfactory medical condition attested to by a physician. |
3. | Must have at least 20/70 vision in one eye corrected to 20/40. |
4. | Four seasons of satisfactory experience as a lifeguard; at least two seasons in a supervisory capacity. |
